1. Finalize a Module

Research all available SAP Modules and read about them.

  • Choose from Technical & Functional modules
  • Give priority to the Module of your interest.
  • Get clarity with the Module Syllabus & cross functionality/dependency with other modules.
  • If you are a developer, You could get into technical modules like SAP ABAP, FIORI, etc, If you are from Non-coding background you could choose out of functional modules.

Connect with IDES/Test Server Provider.

  • The SAP Test system is called IDES (Internet Demonstration and Evaluation System)
  • To practice your learnings you must need a test server & Client application.
  • IDES server providers charge a monthly/annual fee to the purchaser. (Not necessarily official)
  • IDES server must be added to SAP GUI Client software and configured to access. sometimes it may require a dedicated VPN connection or installation inside a VMware.
